I Want to Do Commercials

Toronto & Montreal has a tremendous market for actors, Toronto as it is known as Hollywood North! Commercial rates are set by a union called ACTRA, who ensures that actors are paid residuals based on the amount of people who would see you on air. An actor can get anything from $500 for a day shoot to $10,000 after residuals, and can be easily 5 times this amount for a commercial that airs in the USA. And further buyouts can happen depending on the product, the actor, the length of time on air, etc.
