Your Favourite Audition: Toronto with Larissa Mair for the role of Bobby Parelli in “Life with Boys”. I auditioned 4 times and finally got the role!
Awkward Audition or On The Set Moment: Having to do a big “honking” laugh for the role of Adam in Life with Boys. When the producers saw the audition, they cast me as Bobby Parelli instead!!
Most Embarrassing On The Set Mishap: In Life with Boys, I play a wrestler on the opposing team from the lead, Tess. The night before a big match (to win the Silver Moose), Tess and Bobby find each other face-to-face at a batting cage. By the time we had done rehearsals, sound checks, light checks, etc, I had swung the baseball bat maybe 300 times! Also that morning I had to do handstands and flips at the wrestling gym when I first meet Tess and trying to intimidate her. The next morning when I woke up in my hotel room, my neck cracked and I couldn’t move it!!! The folks at Life with Boys were great. They rearranged the days’ schedule and sent me to the hospital to get checked out. Nothing was wrong but they gave me a pain killer so I was able to finish rehearsals. The next day I was sent to physio with a guy who used to work on Wayne Gretzky!!
Favourite Scene: Emily Osment, who was Lily in Hannah Montana, had a cameo in Life with Boys. Tess and I are trying to have a quiet moment at the cafe called “The Blend” and Emily Osment rushes in as herself. She hides behind the couch where we are sitting because she is running away from the paparazzi. When Tess and I try to get her to admit who she is, she agrees to a photo. Tess is horrified because she does not want her best friend in the show (Allie, who is Madison Pettis from Corey in the House) to know she is dating Bobby Parelli.
