How discovered: Angie's open call audition
Who or what has influenced you?: When I was 11, I attended the Richard Robinson Fashion Show; a friend of our family was one of the 2nd year designers. Seeing the models walking the runway I knew right there and then that modeling was something I wanted to do! Angie signed me 2 months later!
What sets you apart from other people in your profession?: I'm always laughing and smiling! You don't see that all the time in the modeling world; you have to remember to let your personality shine through and not take yourself too seriously.
Where do you find inspiration?
I read a lot of fashion mgazines. I also see how amazingly Herieth is doing - I really look up to her!
Awkward Modeling Moment: When I booked my first job (Yellow campaign, Montreal) there was a boy there who was 16 and was to be my "boyfriend" in the shoot. It was kind of akward being 12 and having to hold hands and everything with this guy that I'd only just met!
Most Embarrassing Runway Mishap: Once, I forgot to zip up the back of my heels, and when I started to walk, my shoe flung off my foot and off the stage!
Most Bizarre Modeling Experience: In Japan, I had a photoshoot where they drew a strawberry on my nose and I had to pretend to eat it with a fork!
Favorite modeling experience so far? Most definitely that would be having my first experience traveling to Japan this summer! I have met some amazing people, experienced a whole new culture, and learned so many new things about modeling at the same time.
Favorite things: Yoga, friends, my laptop, drawing, and reading!

Movie you want to see next: I recently saw "The Help". I loved it so much that I now want to see "The Colour Purple", an older movie but that I'm told has a similar theme.
Most Embarrassing song on your iPod: The Wiggles: Johnny Works with One Hammer
Dreams and Goals: to travel and experience the world by working hard at my modeling techniques over the next few years. I need to also continue to do well at school; I ultimately want to go into fashion design.
Best advice you have ever been given? "What goes around comes around!"
About Angie’s - your agency/booker: AMTI is one of the very few agencies that organizes a Showcase each year. It's a unique opportunity for models and actors to connect and network with international agencies. Without this year's Showcase I wouldn't have seen the Japanese agencies that I did and had the chance to sign with them.
