Your Favourite Audition: Nike Force Fate 2010
Awkward Audition or On The Set Moment: I almost hit the casting director in the face with a hockey stick while auditioning for the NIKE commercial!
Most Embarrassing On The Set Mishap: I was really nervous about my hair looking perfect for the NIKE commercial for the 2010 Winter Olympics because it was a high profile shoot. I got up at 3:30am and spent an hour getting it just right. When I got to the arena to shoot the commercial at 4:30 am in the morning, they immediately sprayed my hair with water and messed it all up to make me look sweaty like I had just got off the ice from a practice! Oh well! C’est la vie!
What are the projects/films you have worked on so far in your career : Minto photo shoot, Bakugan toy commercial and NIKE Force Fate commercial for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
Favourite Scene: My favourite scene to make was the Bakugan cheering scene because I got to scream and cheer as loud as I wanted on set. I lost my voice, but it was worth it!
Favourite Actor: Sylvester Stallone, Al Pacino, Tom Cruise, Robert Deniro, Jim Carrey, the Sprouse twins (Dylan and Cole)
Favourite music, band: Cold Play, Techno and Hip Hop populate my ipod playlist. For piano, I just finished learning “Clair de Lune” by Claude Debussy and enjoy playing Cold Play’s “Clocks”. I played Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” on the viola last year in the Canterbury orchestra and had fun doing performances with this group. We won at The Kiwanis Music Festival for our division. At Canterbury, I discovered some funky new classical music (all strings) by a girl group called BOND. BOND writes and plays very high energy orchestral music and produces fantastic music videos! Check it out on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiaOFOMPOBc
Favourite actors/ designers/models: My favourite designer for casual wear is Ed Hardy and True Religion. For more sophisticated styles, I admire Hugo Boss, Armani and Canali. My favourite model is David Gandy for Dolce and Gabbana and my favourite actor is Sylvester Stallone.
Favourite foods: Pasta from Fratelli’s, club sandwich, B.L.T and steaks on the grill with mushrooms.
Hobbies: I enjoy playing golf, playing piano, and playing hockey and Xbox with my twin brother Sante. I also just learned how to hook my electronic keyboard up to my computer and have learned how to make my own Techno tracks.
Style after work and at play: hoodies from American Apparel, hi top shoes, True Religion jeans and soft t-shirts from Abercrombie or Hollister and NIKE sportswear.
Movie you want to see next: I am looking forward to seeing “The Tourist” with Jonny Depp and Angelina Jolie.
Most Embarrassing song on your iPod: Selena Gomez “A Year Without Rain”
Dreams and Goals: My dream is to one day be in a sit com with my twin brother Sante and sister Bianca. We would have a lot of fun working together and I think people would enjoy watching us. My Ultimate goal is to star in a Hollywood Movie. I also dream of writing a piece of music on the piano for my sister to sing and to perform at the American Music Awards.
About Angie’s - your agency/booker: I feel I have a great relationship with Angie and Lou and that over the years we have built a working relationship based on mutual trust. For my part, I make sure I am looking professional and acting professional on set i.e. being on time, knowing my lines, and dealing respectfully with adults who are in charge on set. Angie and Lou in return keep me “top of mind” by submitting my resume and pictures to casting directors and studios for the chance to work. A casting director in Toronto gave my Mom great feedback on Angie’s Model and Talent on the set of a film my brother was working on. The casting Director said that unlike some agencies, Angie’s is constantly submitting quality talent for work. They are a hard working agency.
Angie and Lou freely give me advice and are constructively critical when they need to help me change my ways. I take this advice very seriously because they are passionate about helping me become the best I can be and help introduce me to the world!
