How discovered: Open call auditions at Angie's Models and Talent International December 2009. Angie saw the potential in me from the beginning, which I am so grateful for because this has changed my life for the best.
Who or what has influenced you? My boyfriend has influenced me greatly. He has always had faith in me from the start and supports everything I decide to do.
What sets you apart from other people in your profession? My height, hair colour, figure, personality, determination and passion.
Where do you find inspiration? I find inspiration in hard working, healthy and beautiful women. As well as, magazines such as, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Vogue, and Flare inspire me to dream big.
Awkward Modeling Moment: My first commercial casting in Turkey.
Most Embarrassing Runway Mishap: My second year at Angie's Showcase, a dress I was modeling was too big and the stylist had no time to tape it to me. When I was walking the runway, the dress fell from my waist up. Luckily, I was wearing a strapless bra and it was on my way back after the photos were taken of me at the end of the runway. I just walked as if it was meant to happen and then laughed about it backstage.
Most Bizarre Modeling Experience: When the boss of a company I was modeling for gave me his phone number.
Favorite modeling experience so far? My favourite modeling experience so far is my three year contract in Istanbul, Turkey. I have booked commercials, editorials, catalogs, photoshoots, web shootings, etc. It's such a beautiful city with wonderful clients. They make you feel like a princess at bookings.
Favorite things: Modeling, singing, acting, traveling, working out, dancing, shopping, reading, baking, and music.
Favorite music, band: My favourite music is what's usually playing on Hot 89.9, a radio station in Ottawa that plays all the new pop songs. My favourite artists are Eminem and Avril Lavigne.
Favorite designers/models: My favourite designers are Chanel, Gucci, Miu Miu, Victoria's Secret and Prada. My favourite models are Herieth Paul, Tyra Banks, And Naomi Campbell.
Favorite foods: Poutine, chicken, salads, smoothies, pizza and tacos.
Hobbies: Modeling, working out, reading and baking.
How would you describe your style? My style is unique because I dress how I feel like dressing and it's never the same look. I don't stick to one trend. I like to switch it up here and there, and I never let others tell me who to be. Always be true to yourself and never let others put you down.
Movie you want to see next: Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part Two. Whenever it comes out, that is.
Most Embarrassing song on your iPod: Concrete Angel by Martina McBride. It's only embarrassing because it's personal.
Dreams and Goals: I want to travel far and wide to fulfill my dream in modeling. I want to see different places, experience different markets and become a supermodel.
Best advice you have ever been given? That beauty is not just what is on the outside but the inside as well. Just smile, be confident and show your personality.
