Angie's Models & Lucian Matis

Posh partygoers were out in force Wednesday to check out designer Lucian Matis’ new fall/winter collection at a fashion show hosted by Christine Shaikin at her clothing boutique, Justine’s, on Sussex Drive. Ms. Shaikin wowed the crowd in her sexy, but not too revealing modern flapper dress by Mr. Matis, who was the runner-up on Project Runway Canada and has appeared on the TV Show Canada’s Next Top Model.

The designer and his bevy of fashion models from Angie’s pulled up to the store in a white Hummer stretch limo as guests mingled over wine and food. The fashion show featured The Black Collection along with some spring/summer pieces. Guests included Mayor Larry O’Brien and his wife, Colleen McBride-O’Brien; Margaret Trudeau, who showed up a little later; Ina Devine of Dunn’s Famous Deli; and Dr. Sharyn Laughlin of the Laserderm clinic.
