Showcase 2008

$1,000 dollars was donated to CHEO FOUNDATION to help out the kids fighting cancer!

Well, we are exactly one week removed from our most successful ‘World Premiere Showcase’. Everyone from the agents, VIPs, models, actors, and parents that were involved with ‘Angie’s World Premiere Showcase 2008’ agree that it was truly an amazing and breath taking experience.

The evening commenced with the 3 Lincoln Navigator Limousines filled with agents from all over and our beautiful top models-Brianna Barnes, Kaitlyn Holbein, Kaitlyn Howe, Jessica Downing, Cathy Crowe, Madelaine Kluska, Adele Sargeant-Nicholls, Alysha Aubin, Christine Richard, Jenna Calvano, Morgan McCunn, Erin Ferraris, Helena-Alexis, and the Lead Actress of Degrassi - Melinda Shankar, along with the Hummer with our great young child actors-Rachel Woodruff, Devin Delorme, Felix & Camille Pennell. These fantastic people then had the privilege to walk on the red carpet, which we have now been calling the “Tunnel Of Love”. ALL of you have made our prestigious panel of International Agents and VIP’S feel extremely special. Your elegance, beauty and style on the runway was breath taking…from the Diamonds, to the David Dixon collections, on to the Overview of all our beautiful people dressed in white, to the various designers/merchants, and taking us to the islands of great bodies in Aqua Di Lara swimwear, you were all truly fabulous and exceptional!

Additionally, our two wonderful models, Erin and Emmanuel were fantastic when they were asked to take part in the Spade Editorial Shoot going on from 3:30 pm in the afternoon!

Amanda Nantsios fantastically talented 11 year old singer and Winner of Ottawa’s Idol 2008 competition entertained us during dinner with her star quality vocals!

Angie’s World Premiere Showcase 2008 came to a conclusion at Parliament Ultra Club where our after party took place for all the models, agents, VIPs and parents who were 19 years or older. We all had a great time talking and dancing late into the night and our models also did some great networking with the agents that were present. Ultimately, good times had by all!

This comes from my heart when I say this, but all of you already know it. The evening of May 31st 2008 felt truly magical! GOD was present and EACH AND EVERY ONE of you looked stunning! I know you all agree when I say, “it’s impossible to put into words” what this showcase does for our models. Last Saturday was the beginning of so much, for so many of our beautiful models and talent! Angie’s World Premiere Showcase 2008, literally rocked the Capital!

We would like to send out a huge thank you to all our wonderful Models, Talent and their parents/families, that made Angie’s World Premiere Showcase 2008 the amazing event it has become! Everyone has raved, literally, about how terrific the Showcase was…and that is because of great attendees!

For those of you who were not in attendance, you utterly missed a great deal, and I’m honestly saying that as an understatement. Make sure you don’t miss next year’s extravaganza. We are currently busy in the process of trying to find a new venue for the next 3 years because the Congress Centre is being re built.

Our models/talent have booked Kohl’s, Ferrari, A &F, Miu Miu, Hugo Boss, Body Glove, JLO’s Sweetface, Bonne Bell Lip Smackers Campaign, Garage, JC Penney, Spade, Preston Catalogue, Elle Girl, Clin d’Oeil, Limited Two, and many are gracing the big screens and TV Screens in feature films, TV Commercials. Our models are gracing the runways of New York, Asia, and Europe as we speak!

Hard work, beautiful pictures, great personalities, professionalism and the exposure to the industry all help in making you our success story!
